Just for scale, the boat is about 35 feet long. The mast is about 30 feet high.

The small chunk that calved was bigger than a school bus.
That is our boat in a fiord. The boat is about 120 feet long and 30 feet to the top of the mast.

Waiting for more to drop
Another chuck calves. Glaciers are blue because the ice is so compacted the blue wavelength is the only one that is transmitted.
Most every day a groups left the boat for some on shore activity. Also where sightseeing tours to explore the nearby shorelines.
